Hi! I'm David Anderson for Expert Village. We are here at the Golf Club at Star Ranch outside of Austin, Texas demonstrating some tips on how to improve your golf game. Right now we are around the green and show you how to putt out of the rough not using a putter because the ball is up against the rough so the putter may not slide through easily so what you need to use is a bigger mallet much like your driver. The ball once again is tucked back into the rough, you are still off the green but it is easier to get the mallet head through to get to the hole and that is going in. Once again, the ball winds up right on the edge of the rough. You have a big tufted grass right behind the ball, you can't get your putter through so once again, you take a big mallet head and it is easier to get through the grass.
