LAUREN MUTTY: In this segment, we're going to talk about preps, otherwise known as shoulder height stunts. So we've got our group here. This is one of our bases. This is another one of our bases. This is our flier because she flies up in the air, and this is our back spot because she is spotting in the background. Back spot, back base, you can call them whichever you want. Okay? Notice that they're standing in a boxed position. If someone were standing right here, they would have a complete and total square with the bow on top of the present. That's Joanne. So what they're going to do is we're going to teach you the counts that we use to get into this stunt. They clap on one, two, and then they set on three, four. Jessica and Victoria are going to squat. They're going to put their hands right next to each other to grab onto feet. Paige is going to put her first foot into Victoria's hands. She's going to put her hands on their shoulders and have her elbows up. She's going to be ready so that she can push off with her shoulders to get right up into the air kind of like she's climbing out of a swimming pool. These guys are going to have straight backs. They're going to be looking at each other and Paige's foot at the same time. It's all going to be in the same general area, and Joanne is going to be holding onto her waist and she's going to dip with her to help push her up. So they clap on one, two. This is setting on three, four. On five, six, the entire group is going to bounce; and then on seven, eight, Paige is going to put her other foot into Jessica's hand. So this is seven, eight. Then they're all going to bounce and they're going to go up on one, two. Ready? Five, six, seven, eight. Up one, two. There we go. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, one. So let's go over that real quick again. Show me one, two. Show me three, four. We're going to do five, six, seven, eight, real quick. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, one.
