LAURIE LAING: There's a myth and that myth is, is that you need to change your stance when you're going through the deep powder, and that's wrong. You do exactly what you do on the groove and in the bumps; you always stay centered over your skis. All right, let's go do some powder skiing. There're a couple of different ways of stopping. When you're a beginner, you're more than likely going to be stopping with a wedge or a snow plow. But when you've become a little bit more advanced and you're cruising the mountain, a great way to stop is a hockey stop. Stops you really fast and you get to spray your friends. Let go check it out. There you go. Piece of cake.
