DR. LISA RHODES: Hi, I'm Dr. Lisa Rhodes with the Westlake Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery. Rosacea is a common facial eruption which usually shows itself as redness of the nose and cheeks along with a little red bumps. The best way to camouflage this is to wear green, tinted foundations, powders or moisturizers. The green cancels out the red and helps give a more even skin appearance. Another big thing is to avoid triggers that make the rosacea worse or more red. Classic triggers are sun exposure, hot beverages, alcohol and spicy foods.
