MALU LUJAN: Okay, so we're going to be massaging the hand. I'm going to show you how to massage the hand when somebody is laying on their stomach and also with somebody laying on their back. It really doesn't matter what position they're in as long as they're comfortable, but this is just so that you can see me working on their palm. So I'm using a little bit of oil. Usually lotion is a little bit nicer for the hands but in this case, we only have a scented lotion and this person is better off without scented products. It's good to ask your person what they're comfortable with. So I'm going to put my hand in her hand. I'll just apply a little pressure, just do a couple nice strokes like that throughout her palm and her fingers. The next thing I'm going to do I'm going to put my thumbs in her palm and just do little circles in the palm of her hand. Yeah. And I'm going to rub the fingers. And it's good when you rub the fingers. It's good to start at the base here and just sort of work your way gently to the tip. Okay, so we've turned Sally over so that she's laying on her back. And this is the front of her hand, and we're going to be massaging her hand. And I'm just going to rub sort of in between the bones. I'm going to ask you to just relax your hand and pretend it's cooked spaghetti, Sally. So I'm just rubbing in between the bones. These are called metatarsal bones. And okay, so one thing you'll notice is that I'm kind of pulling on the ends of her fingers and sending the energy away. That's a great technique. You want to send it away from you and away from them, just pull the tension out of them. Goodbye, tension. We'll see you later. Okay, so that's massaging the hands.
