Nuts!! Nuts are great snacks!

MARY HONDROS: Okay I am going to give you some ideas now for some sugar free snacks. When you talk about snacks, you can talk about a whole general category of foods and that can include anything that is baked or prepackaged things like that. Naturally sugar free snacks include things like popcorn, pretzels and chips. They do not have any added sugar whatsoever. Some good choices for sugar free snacks would include something like popcorn, pretzels, veggie sticks with a dip, crackers with cheese, things like that, crackers with peanut butter. Those are all sugar free snacks. There are snacks that normally have sugar in them like sweets, some candies, some chocolates which you could find sugar free versions of but just keep in mind that those products do not usually have the same taste or same quality as the sugary kind. So, if you are working on trying to pick more sugar free snacks, keep the following four things in mind. You can choose something like veggie sticks like sliced carrots, cucumbers and things like that with a dip and that is a sugar free snack. Secondly, remember that things like trail mix, pretzels and popcorn are also great choices and they are also sugar free as well. Remember that sugar snacks that are processed might have an artificial sugar in them which is not necessarily good for you and the product also does not taste all that great. So just remember that when you are picking a sugar free snack. So those are all tips on including sugar free snacks in your diet.
