MELISA BROWN: Hi, my name is Melisa Brown and I'm a licensed massage therapist here in Miami, Florida. I'm with U Need A Massage. In this clip, we're going to talk about de-stressing with a self-massage. It's not as much fun as when somebody gives it to you, but it's really nice to have the ability to do it to yourself. Starting with your right hand just doing compressions up and down the arm and doing from the inside and going on the outside, just doing light compressions. You don't have to stay there too long. Another fabulous way is using your forearm. You're rolling, and you're rolling, and you're rolling down the arm. And you can also do this on your thighs. You're rolling on your thighs. Our legs go through just as much stress as our mind does. You can also do glides, gliding up and down the thigh. Wonderful points are your feet. It's great to do your feet. And using both of your hands like in a butterfly position, I'm not going to be pinching in with my thumbs pointing down. I'm going to be having them straight and just pressing into the bottom of the foot. These are wonderful de-stressing. Any time that you can pull, you pull.
