MELISA BROWN: Hi, my name is Melisa Brown and I'm a licensed massage therapist here in Miami, Florida. I'm with U Need A Massage. In this clip, we're going to be talking about how to treat migraine headaches. There's several different ways. If you want to go the more natural way, you want to go on a very easy and relieving way, we're going to start out by cupping our fingers underneath the neck and just kind of staying there. Depending where the migraine is - it could be on the left side or the right side, maybe even on the forehead - I'm just going to do light pressure points all the way around the frame of the face moving way up. I can do that with either two fingers or one finger. But depending on what the person can actually take, I'm just going to be pressing down and I'm going to go at a slow motion. I'm not going too fast. And once I get to the face, I'm going to be pressing with my thumbs. If say the migraine is in the front of the face, just pressing down and pressing down. You're going to feel heat. The person may see stars. It's all depending on what type of migraine and how far the migraine has progressed. So just basically pressing these points, you're taking that energy out. Be very calm.
