MELISA BROWN: Hi, my name is Melisa Brown and I'm a licensed massage therapist here in Miami, Florida. I'm with U Need A Massage. In this clip, we're going to talk about cupping massage and cupping on the back. Now by cupping, I mean, you're putting hands in a cupping position. This is fabulous if you get any type of buildup of fluids in your lungs, like little children when they have colds. It's wonderful for them. And what I'm doing is with both hands, I'm just cupping it. You're going to hear this special sound. It sounds like you're cupping. You can go a little bit faster or you can go to a more rhythmic pace. That's a little bit more soothing when you have it more in a rhythmic pace. I don't necessarily have to do it on the back. I can do it all over. But this is great after you've had a cold to get all that phlegm out. You can do it in a laying-down position or you can do it sitting up. It doesn't necessarily have to be on the laying-down position. Sitting up is wonderful too. And you can do in the front of the chest as well. Just keeping your hands in this motion and you're going to hear that special sound. Not too hard, it's not a slap. It's going to be a very determined and firm cup
