CELIA DUBEY: It's important to keep your child safe while in the pool. While holding your child, again, speak calmly yet excited and point out different parts of the pool. Check out the steps, Savanna. Aren't they neat? Yeah. Now, have your child grasps the edge of the pool wall. Go ahead and grasp at it. Good girl. Why don't you go ahead and just take your hands and walk over slowly. Very good, Savanna. Keep coming. Excellent. And just allow them to become familiar with the inside of the pool. Good, Savanna. That's fantastic. You want to go to the other way? Good. Let's go the other way now. SAVANNA: And I want to go that way. CELIA DUBEY: Let's go to the other way now. There you go. Hold on to that edge. Excellent. Very good. Again, just direct them along, travelling along the pool, holding them the entire time, so they feel safe and comfortable. And that's how you keep your child safe while in the pool. WOMAN: We're just a little bit short on that one. CELIA DUBEY: Okay. All right. WOMAN: We have to do it as Celia says. Okay? MAN: Exactly. CELIA DUBEY: I forget. You're going, like, really wave to me, right?WOMAN: Yes.CELIA DUBEY: Okay. Good. That's great.WOMAN: Savanna, settle down. Do exactly what Celia says, okay?CELIA DUBEY: You're doing great, Savanna. You go down.WOMAN: You're doing a great job, but you can't say you want to go the other way because we're shooting this.CELIA DUBEY: Wave okay. WOMAN: She's in charge. CELIA DUBEY: We're going this way, though.WOMAN: We're still rolling? Okay. All right and action.CELIA DUBEY: Now, it's important to keep your child safe while you're in the pool as well. Again, you want to speak in an excited tone but in a calm tone at the same time. You want to hold your child so they feel safe and comfortable in the pool. Go ahead and point out the different parts of the pool. Look, Savanna. You see the steps? Aren't they neat?SAVANNA: Yeah. CELIA DUBEY: And the toy? And do you see the ladder over there? Great. Now, Savanna, we're going to go ahead and hold on to the edge of the pool right here. Point out the edge of the pool. Have them support themselves with their feet at the wall. Go ahead and put your feet on the wall. Very good. And with your hands, Savanna, I want you to come towards me nice and gently. Very good. Come on over. Very good. And keep holding your child just so they feel safe and comfortable. Let's go the other way. Okay, Savanna? Okay. Good. There you go. Hold on to the edge of the pool. Very good. Excellent. And just keep a hold on them just so they feel safe and comfortable while in the pool. Great, Savanna. You are doing awesome. And that's how you keep your child safe in the pool
