Video Transcript

CINDY MASTRY: Namaste. My name is Cindy Mastry and in this clip, Faith is going to help me demonstrate the Prana-Breathing Meditation. Prana is the life force energy that rides on your breath. Very important to the yogi, and so we're going to see if we can use that Prana to help us relax a little bit more. She's going to find a comfortable seated positing somewhere where she could sit for several minutes, lengthening through the spine, allowing the eyes to soften closed and relaxing her hands on her knees. As she inhales in, she's going to imagine gold light coming down from the sky through the crown chakra at the crown of her head and draw that light into her body. She's going to withhold her breath and imagine that golden light sparkling through her entire body. When she's ready as she exhales, she senses that golden light out through her heart chakra right at the center of her chest. Inhaling in, drawing that golden light down in through the crown chakra at the top of the head, withholding the breath, allowing that golden light to sparkle throughout her entire being, and then as she exhales, sending that light forth though her heart center. This is the Prana-Breathing Exercise using the golden light.
