Ben Bennett is an American football coach, most recently the head coach of the af2's Austin Wranglers. He has been involved in professional football as a player and coach since 1984. After a successful college career at Duke University , Bennett played in the National Football League (NFL), the United States Football League (USFL), the Arena Football League (AFL), and the World League of American Football (WLAF). He coached in the AFL and af2. He was inducted into the Arena Football Hall of Fame as a player in 2000.

BEN BENNETT: Hey everybody. I'm Ben Bennett, head coach of the Austin Wranglers of the AF2, about to teach you how to hand off the football. Now, different guys teach different ways to do this, but when a quarterback is going to see the ball, he takes a snap, brings the ball in to then protect it. And when he's going to hand it off, the running back is going to come by, he's going to bend his knees and stick the ball into a pocket. And once that ball come in there, you don't try to slap it in there. You don't do the whole thing, it's just as he comes by, he'll slip it in there, pull his hand back out and you take off. The best way to teach our guys is to teach them how to put there hands up, because if you put your hands like this, that thing won't slide in. It'll bounce off. So when you're coming by to the right, you're going to take your left arm and pee on your quarterback, just like a dog in a fire hydrant. Come through, take the ball, pee on them and get the ball and take it. So just goes the opposite if you're going the other way. Quarterback comes through, he's going to seed it, pee on them with your right arm up, take the ball and that's how to hand off the football.
