KIM ROY: In this clip, I'm going to teach you how to play doubles. We need four people. One person is going to be on the forehand side and the other person is going to be on the backhand side, same for the other team. Somebody's going to be in the forehand side and somebody is going to be in the backhand side. Primarily, you stay on your side of the courts, whether that's the right side or the left side, but you have the ability to move and switch sides at any point. When I'm the server, my partner is standing in one of the boxes in the service box with his back along the back wall. The other team is next to the back wall. You take turns as the team hitting the ball. I can hit the ball, then somebody from the other team could hit the ball. Somebody from my team then somebody from their team, you take turns. It's like playing tennis or volleyball, except we're sharing this space in racquetball. Doubles can be dangerous. So be very careful. If somebody is in front of you, do not swing. Wait, call a hinder and you replay the point. Whoever was serving, serves again. In serving, once my team has lost the rally on my serve, my partner gets the opportunity to serve. Each team gets two chances at serving opportunities. Once both team members have lost the serve, the other team now has the opportunity to serve.
