DEL WARREN: Okay, we're going to talk about something pretty basic here is how to position your feet but even though it sounds basic, it's pretty important to the end result which is trying to throw the bowling ball in the direction which you're intending and to deliver with power and balance. The most important thing is you start from the ground up and you position your feet and if you're right handed, what you want to do is you want to pretty much point your left toe where you want the ball to go. Now, even though we talked about 39 boards and these boards are going north and south, we don't throw the ball north and south if you're right handed. Most of the time people throw what we call a hook and you're going to throw the ball away from the head pin. So just like you throw a baseball or a football or you hit a golf ball, you'll want to position your body where you want that ball to go. So I'm going to position my left toe down the target line which is right in this scenario, it's toward the sixth pin and then my--that's my left toe, my right foot's going to come back and it's going to kind of--my right foot is going to kind of flare out a little bit. And what I'm going to do is kind of get in an athletic position, just like a short stop or a linebacker or anything you would do in sport, you're just going to kind of flex your knees and you're going to get ready to move. But the most important thing here is that this angle established by the feet is now going to be reflected in the hips and in the shoulders. So I have a nice base from the ground up and my body is getting ready to throw that ball where I want that ball to go. If you do that, I know your accuracy is going to get better, your spear shooting is going to get better and your power's going to get better.
