PANCHO HERRERA: This is Pancho Herrera. Let me show you how I turn a right hand corner on a single track trail. Okay, as I'm cornering on a trail that turns to my right, I want to make sure and have my left pedal down. The idea there is let's give ourselves lots of clearance on this right side. The last thing you want to do is turn and clip a pedal. So, as I'm making this right sweeper, I positioned my left pedal in the down position, the bulk of my weight is positioned here on my left leg, that balances the bike correctly. And finally, if I can just slightly push on this right side handle bar, I can initiate a tight right hand turn. You are leaning the bike fractionally in, keeping your body somewhat upright and always listening and feeling those tires for traction. Take note of this left pedal in the down position, we want to give ourselves lots of clearance on the right side here. Take a look at how I round this right hand corner. I've got my left foot down; I don't want the right pedal to drag the ground.
