KIM ROY: In this clip, I'm going to talk about court position. I have laid out some blue tape to demonstrate the magic court position spot for racquetball. Every time you hit a racquetball, you want to move back to this spot and be in this position, toes forward. It's very important to note that I have a backhand grip. Most opponents will try to hit to your backhand. You're already prepared with the backhand grip. No need to switch to your forehand grip. Please note that your feet are forward and your eyes are watching your opponent hit the racquetball. You're looking over your shoulder, watching your opponent hit the racquetball. Keep your eyes on the ball, toes forward, racket holding a backhand grip, eyes on the racquetball. The only time you do not want to be in this spot is if you are serving or if you're receiving. Other than that, you want to be in the magic racquetball spot.
