Just got a haircut at the 66th St Barber Shop in Pinellas Park FL. Best haircut I've ever gotten for only ........ $10.00. Great old time shop feel. Loved the whole experience.

Hi, my name is Joe Ann Ganci, and I've been a barber since 1980. And I'm going to demonstrate how to give a man's haircut with a pair of clippers. You use the heaviest clippers, and you switch to the blade, whichever they prefer. Of course, you ask them what length would you like, and you go through the blades maybe that sounds familiar or a one or a two or a three, and just put the blade size that you need. [demonstration] And you want to start out low, just right around the backside of the hair. [demonstration] And you're going to keep it low around the ears, [demonstration] and you follow that about the same length--width that you've taken off on the side. You follow that through to the back and through to the other side. [demonstration] And you use kind of a flipping kind of motion with your hand, and you just kind of lift the hair up and flip it out a little bit, because you have to blend the rest of it. So you can't have a sharp line, so you always want to use, like, a flip motion out. [demonstration] And the lengths of haircuts depending on what they want, you just have to go with what the patron is asking for, never assume to take it the length that you want. Always find out what he wants.
