Hi! my name is Brandon and I work at BC Surf-n-Sport here in Coral Springs, Florida. You can find us on the web at www.bcsurf.com. Basically, what you want to do to drop in and gain some momentum on a ramp is basically the same thing that you are dropping in a normal ramp. Make sure you have like I said earlier your wheels are over the coping and have weight on your tail so your board does not drop down the ramp. What you want to do is have your front foot over the bolts and make sure that when you do drop in you lean forward, but not too much forward to the point where you flip over and you don't want to have your foot too far back because you then lean back and you could smash your head in, so make sure you wear your helmet for this maneuver. What you want to do is you want to have your front foot over the bolts and, your back foot on the tail and when you lean forward and just drop and lift up my hand so you don't gain that much momentum and you won't lose the coping. Just pop just like you were getting a like coping this also keeps more speed momentum in the ramp and also you want to go ahead and get a little more speed and it just gets a little bit harder.
