Hi my name is Adrian Heath. I'm the head coach of the Austin Aztex, and now we're going to demonstrate the corner kick. A corner is given when the opposing team kicks the ball behind their own goal line, this goal--this line here that runs parallel right away across the field along the goal line. So when the ball goes over there, the attacking team then has a corner. So we're just going to show you the basic two corners. The first one is the outswinger, which goes away from the goalkeeper. It's aiming for your center-forward in the box. Put it into where he's at for me, Carlos, please. If you could just bend it away from the goalkeeper. Perfect. As you can see, if you want to come behind me--if you come behind me, then you'll see the swerve of the ball and the curve of the ball taking it away from the goalkeeper, and watch where he hits the ball. He hits the ball on the side here. This is where you hit the ball. You hit the ball on the side to try and get it to curl away from the goalkeeper and to our center-forward's head. See how the ball is spinning in the air away from the goalkeeper and straight onto his head. It's a great header into the top corner. Fantastic demonstration there.
