Hi, my name is Adrian Heath. I'm the head coach of the Austin Aztex, and now we're going to demonstrate just a simple side-foot pass. So [PH] Wes is going to be standing 6 yards apart from me. And pass me the ball, Wes. Let's go through the very, very basics. As you can see, left foot by the side of the ball, if you're right footed. Get your arms out for a bit of balance and just push through the middle of the ball with the side foot to get the big surface of your foot. So there you go, pushing through. Same again, Wes, just keep doing the same thing. As you can see Wes is moving his feet side to side. He gets in line with the ball, left foot by the side of the ball, and pushes through the middle of the ball with his right foot. Keep going. And there with his left foot. So it's left foot down, push through the side of the foot using the big surface, this big surface there, coming through the middle of the ball and push through the ball. Don't just hit the ball and stop there, make sure you push through along the ground if possible so it's easier to control at the other end. That's just the basic side-foot pass.
