Hi, my name is Adrian Heath. I'm the head coach of the Austin Aztex, and now we're going to show you and demonstrate the chip pass. So if we can just go through it here. Start it off for me, [PH] Wes. Get in line with it and you watch Carlos now. He's going to get his foot underneath the ball and lift it right away through, slightly leaning back, good technique. Get your arms up for me please, Carlos, when you're kicking it and nice--yeah. There you go and through it goes. So let's have a couple of more. Play the ball back. Get it out your feet, control it, get in line. As you can see, leaning back, pushes through and kicks right through the underneath the bottom part of the ball. So if we can bring the ball back, please, Wes, for me. So if you can just nearly stop for me, Carlos, at the point of when you're about to strike it. So if you can stop when you're about to strike the ball, that's where he's kicking the ball, at the bottom of the ball there, leaning back a little bit to chip to get your foot underneath it to get it in the air. Now, this is used to pass it to a teammate, generally when there is somebody in between. So if you go in the middle for me, please. [PH] Esi is the defender. So now, we can't pass it along the ground because obviously the defender is going to cut the ball off, but this pass will get it over his head and will continue to move and continue to play. See if you can block it, if you can, Esi, see if you can get your head to it. And this is when you use the chip pass because it goes over the player's head to continue to move and to continue with play with your own teammates. You practice this in the park with your friends, or you can play onto a wall, just getting it in a certain point. And that's in through. A perfect demonstration, that last one. That was a perfect demonstration, the last one.
