Mix with back extensions
Back extensions on machine
Michael Rosengart is a professional fitness trainer in Santa Monica, California.
Off-season training for football. Last superset combination that we're going to be working with from the ground up is going to be dead lift and back extension. Jonesy is going to work with a dumbbell dead lift right here. He's going for ten dead lifts and he's going to superset that with back extensions on the machine. Keep in mind to push through your heels on each dead lift, hips back, hips forward, eyes parallel to the ground, chest open [DEMONSTRATION]. On the back extension stay long through the spine, stay tall [DEMONSTRATION]. Lift yourself up, feel that you're working all the way down-all the way down to your heels [DEMONSTRATION]. And full extension up. So he's working on 20 of these. Where you're feeling that you're working not with just--not just the back but also the glutes and the hamstrings. Make sure that you're not just working with just the back, but feel how you're working through the glutes and the hamstrings as well. And once he's done with the 20 extensions, he's going to come back and work with 10 more dead lifts [DEMONSTRATION]. Making sure right now, very important, at the end of the superset that his eyes are very parallel to the ground to see what's going on. Ten reps. Take a short break. And get ready to do it again. Five cycles through on this superset. So go get it and then we have one more to go.
