Off-season training for football: The cool-down neck stretches. So first, after everything that we've done already in terms of stretching and the exercises, let's approach working with the neck real smooth. So we're just going to real simply work ear to shoulder then ear to shoulder. Just back and forth about 5 to 10 times. And then we're going to take the ear, we're going to hold it this time and lightly place the hand on top of the head while we take the opposite hand reaching for the floor, take a deep breath in and just reach for the floor a little bit more [DEMONSTRATION]. And we'll do this for both sides. Ear to shoulder, hand on top of the head, reaching for the floor [DEMONSTRATION]. Then we'll come back to ear to shoulder and once we're here, we're just going to turn the head, it's as if you're trying to see if you have deodorant on and we'll hold back, still reaching down for the floor with the opposite hand and then we'll take it to the other side. So ear to shoulder, turn the head, reach for the floor then once we're done with those, we're going to do ear, chin, ear, ear, chin, ear, work it nice and smooth through and then come on up and you're all done for today.
