In this clip we are going to do suspended leg lifts with the suspension trainer. You are going to grab the handles of the suspension trainer with an overhand grip. Now you are going to maintain an extension with your arms with a slight bend so you are going to hold on with that resistance, you are going to lift your legs up and then you are going to lower them down keeping your back nice and flat against the mat. Now if this is too much for your back you can always bend at the knees, gently press down and lift. By shortening the lever you are going to take some of the stress off the back, you are still going to feel this in your abs, your back and your quadriceps. You want to maintain that resistance by holding on securely and you are going to go back to the advanced option, extend the legs out with a slight bend, push down and then bring them back up.
