It's important for adults with ADHD, regardless of what treatment modalities they may or may not pursue, to educate themselves on ADHD and it's comorbid disorders as much as possible. It tends to be adults sometimes don't even realize they may have ADHD until they start to educate themselves, be it online, or through books, or by talking to theirphysician, and realizing that hey, I think I just found a list of symptoms that really matches all these little problems I seem to have. It's--it can be a mind-changing and almost heartbreaking experience to realize that this thing that you felt has been wrong with you for almost your entire life, actually has a name and that there's doctors and other professionals out there who can help you to treat it. And it's something that you can learn to live with and work with, and be productive, and I always encourage anybody with ADHD to continuously educate themselves. To read the new research that comes out, to get as broad a perspective on the disorder as they can, so as to get a broad--as broad a perspective on themselves as possible. It's--again, ADHD is something that affects everybody differently, and the greater perspective you have, the more you may see yourself in part of the education, or part of the symptoms, or you might find a new path to treating one or more facets of your ADHD. So I always encourage ADHD people, and I myself continuously educate myself about ADHD.
