Right now I'm going to introduce some games that are a lot of fun but they're still very relative to the game of basketball and it's going to help you with quick feet, shooting, rebounding, the whole kit and kaboodle, but they're still very fun and they're great to play with multiple people. Right now I'm going to demonstrate Monkey in the Middle. Right now I'm the defender, or the Monkey in the Middle, and I have two offensive players on the outside of me. Now my goal is to get the ball from them. Now they're going to pass it back and forth, they're unable to move, they're going to remain stationary but it's still their job to give good passes to each other without me stealing it. So we're going to go slow, I'm going to give the ball to Trish, OK? So you see, they're going to pass it back and forth between each other but we're going to kick it up a notch. We're going to go full speed and I'm going to get that ball, alright? Now generally when you're doing this drill, you can go for thirty seconds or if the defender gets the ball faster, whatever one comes first, but I'm going to try to get the ball. So we're going to go ahead, go full speed. So, since she made the turnover, Trish will go ahead and jump in the middle. So Trish is in the middle, OK? Now we're going to go for another thirty seconds. Ready? That was Monkey in the Middle, a children's game used for basketball.
