Now we're going to talk about releasing a trigger. As I told you in previous segments, a trigger is essentially, your timing mechanism, getting you in the correct position, to again hit the ball. Now, so, pitcher is on the mound, you're ready. He starts his swing, he starts coming to you. Now, boom, there's your trigger. Now what do you have to do from here? You have to open up your, spin on your back foot, plant, open up your hips and get your hands through the baseball. So in real time, this is what it's going to look like. Boom, I'm in the trigger. Now, I just released the trigger. What did that whole movement encompass. It encompassed several different things. Once I was here, as you can see, hands over the back foot. As I start to rotate on my back foot, my hips are opening up and my hands are coming down like this. A lot of people make the mistake, what they do, they get to here and they all look good. Then they drop their hands. What are you doing? You're popping up the ball or you get to here and you go like this, which makes you get around the ball. You start to roll balls over, things like that. So what you want to do, boom, get to your trigger point. Now the ball is coming, I see that I'm going to hit it, there you go. That's releasing the trigger.
