I've moved my hands to create a lumbar stretch here. I'm pushing away with my right hand here, stretching out this lower-lumbar area. It's very good if you're partner has any kind of lower-back pain, which is very common. Back pain is always about support, feeling supported. Obviously physically you're supporting yourself. If you're picking up your child, it's all registering in your lower back. But, it also could be an emotional support. If you're not being supported by you...at work, or your relationships, a lot of this manifests itself in lower back pain. So we're slowly working this area, and I'm using my palm and my fingertips to slowly work above the sacrum here. Little circles, little circles, just opening it up a little bit here. My left hand is more of a mothering hand, just to be centered here over the heart chakra. Do you feel that stretch? Uh-huh. Okay, next we'll move to working along the spine.
