Okay, now I'm going to show you how to prepare for your hot stone massage. I have my stones laid out, and I'm going to put them in the pot in order that I'm going to use them. First I'm going to put a white towel in the basin so that the stones don't move around while I'm getting them and so I can see them better. I would put the smaller stones in first and then the larger stones on top. I would fill the basin with water to about a half an inch from the top, cover it, turn it on to heat. I want the stones to be heated between a hundred and twenty, and a hundred and fifty degrees. And you should allow for about fifteen to fifty-five minutes for the stones to heat. So be prepared before your client comes, as well as draping the table. Also you want to prepare an ice bath just in case the stones are too hot for you or your client, so you can dip the stones in periodically to cool them. Also have your oil ready. I have a holster on my side which is great for walking around the table so I don't have to move around to find my, my oil or my cream. And that's how you prepare for a hot stone massage.
