A 5th grade teacher dared to changed the lives of thousands of people including his own. He started the victory walk, a one man walk across the state of Michigan in 18 days to help cancer victims become cancer survivors. He wanted to raise money and awareness. He challenges his students in the classroom to make a change and started a mini victory walk.

Hey Sean,

You are a great leader. I am so impressed that you did that walk to honor your mother, but even more so that you will lead your students, teaching them to make a difference for others. Keep up the fight.

I find your story truly empowering, not only because you overcame cancer, but that you chose to spread the message forward and are empowering a new generation and teaching them that they can make a difference.

Wow...what a wonderful video and tribute to your Mom. Too bad that we both had to have our time with our mothers cut short by cancer. Ditto to Karen's comments! The kids in your classroom are very lucky.
