Thanks. Doing the Ride for the Roses and LIVESTRONG Challenge gave us a great focus for structuring our time, especially that first year when the chemotherapy was the hardest. I think Lance is great, but (shh, don't tell Lance) Spencer is my hero.

I am so inspired with your story. I lost my only child 10 years after being hit by a drunk driver. I know the fear and pain that comes from loving our children so much and being willing to do anything to make their lives better!
You have an incredible son and you must be so proud and grateful!

I can only imagine the pain you have gone through. t's the sort of loss I have only glimpsed in my own imagination and I don't know how parents can bear the loss of a child. I don't know if I could. I am sorry for your loss.

Thanks. Today, Spencer set another mileage record with a 21.7 mile ride at the Veloway in Austin. Definitely on track to do 45 in 5 weeks. I see him every day and he still surprises me.

Rob, thank you so much for sharing this with us! What a great way you've found to channel some of the rage and lack of hope you must have felt into something positive and inspiring for you and Spencer together! Wow.
Can't wait to see how you do with your 'dare'!!
