Hi, I'm Karina Fraley for Expert Village and I am a lifestyle expert and the official mom from mommywood.com. Today we're going to be talking a little bit about little league. I'm going to give you some pointers on how to enroll your child and also things that you need to be aware of if your child is playing in the little league. Now baseball is America's favorite pastime and what better way to introduce it to your child than to have them play in a little league team. Little league started back in 1939 by Carl Stotz, he had been playing around with his nephews the summer of 1938. He gathered his two nephews and a couple of his friends and they started tossing a ball around and by the end of the summer Carl Stotz decided that he needed to form a league. So that was formed in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The league has obviously come a very long way throughout all the years. Girls are now obviously able to play and it's just a great way to expose your children to sportsmanship, to Americana to exercise. It really is a really great activity for them to participate in.
