The next grind we are going to talk about is the double peg grind. Much like the name implies, all it means is that you are sliding across an object on both of your pegs. This one a lot of people would instinctively think that it is easier than a feble ride but it actually is usually not because you don't have much control of what your front wheels do. Another issue is because your peg is sliding, your front peg rather than having your front wheel rolling, there is more friction and you are going to lose speed a little more quickly. A little harder to balance as well but at the same time it is really a good trick to learn once you figure out how to do a good feble ride. So you want to make sure as I said with the feble ride segment, that you don't pick your pegs up too high so usually if you are gong to double peg something, a lot of the time you are only going to have to hop a couple of inches high to get your pegs on it and you don't want to hopping really high because you will come down like I said, like a ton of bricks especially if you are coming down on your front peg like a ton of bricks. There is a whole lot of metal to transmit all that force through to your wrist so it's not going to feel very good either. So much like a feble ride, you want to get enough speed to get across the object that you are grinding across and you want to make sure to get your pegs just sort of on the object and stay pretty loose. With a feble grind, you want to be a little bit farther over the front end and with a double peg, you want to be centered over the bike because that way if your front peg sticks, it won't send you up over the front end. So you want to do that and getting off is a little bit harder. You have to pull off a little bit harder than you do with a feble because you are just not naturally in a position where you are going to pop as much. Once you figure it out, you get a pretty simple grind. Certainly a step up in difficulty from a feble grind but a good trick to learn.
