All right now it is time to show you how to do a pedal grind. Come up, there we go and as you'll see, I made sure to carry a little bit of extra speed. More than I did for the feeble. I like to carry a little bit more extra speed because as I said in the previous clip, your pins in the pedal are going to start digging in to whatever it is that you are sliding. The faster you go, the less that is going to happen especially on something that is steel. The other thing is if I drop my foot down a pretty good bit so I am a little bit more leveled out than I am on a feeble grind. My main reason for doing that is it allows me to get more weight off of my pedal and transfer over to the front wheel which is rolling so it allows me to slide a little bit faster and basically if you can slide that extra bit faster, you can go further and I am actually going to have a little less wear on your parts as well because it will create less friction. As you saw on the end, I got as far as I felt like going and just a gentle hop off much like a feeble. The front wheel came off first and in this case, my pedal followed with a light little hop and it rolled out of it just fine. This is a whole different range of tricks. Like I said it will wreck your bike a little bit faster but it is a good challenge and the pedal feeble is a good place to start when learning pedal grinds and how to learn on other parts of your bike.
