How to Remove Bicycle Pedals

So if you are a versatile rider that ride both flat pedals and the clip less pedals you find that you sometimes want to change you pedals back and forth or if you buy a new set of pedals how do you install new pedals. So this bike right here has clip less pedals on it and you know I want to know how would I take off these clip less pedals and install the flat pedals that I have. There is not flat for a pedal wrench here so there is nothing to hold on to but if I look at the left pedal that I have ready taken off what there is a resist for a 6 millimeter Allen wrench with fits in the back of the pedal. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to take my Allen wrench, I'm going to insert it to the back of the pedal, it is hard to see from this angle but you can kind of get you know the jest of it and that it is inserted. Then I'm going to pull up on it to take it off so I use my right hand to hold the other crank arm to get some balance and you know balance out my forces to get some leverage and now I'm just simply moving the, rotating the Allen wrench towards the back of the bike to take this off. So it is a pretty simple process some times the pedals are on there really tight and with a Allen wrench you know not very long doesn't generate a lot of force. Some companies have started to make longer Allen wrenches designed along the same line as a pedal wrench cause a lot of pedals only have Allen wrench flask. Like if we look at this very light weight Crank Brothers pedal all it has on it a Allen wrench flap. But the 6 millimeter that I use to take off the heavier pedal doesn't work. This one uses a 8 millimeter wrench.
