Vitamin C packs a powerful punch full of antioxidants when used in skin care. It turns out that it's not only an added benefit in tasty citrus fruits, but it's also been proven to do great things for skin when used within a stable formula such as L-ascorbic acid. Vitamin C serums should be stored in opaque packaging in order to keep the product from oxidizing. Oxidization can make the product lose its strength.

Vibrant Vitamin C

When applied topically on the skin in the form of a serum or in a vitamin C lotion, the vitamin has been shown to help to do an array of great things for skin. It can work to promote the production of collagen, protect skin from harmful rays of the sun and diminish the appearance of sun damage. It can also boost the benefits of skin peels and microdermabrasion. Vitamin C can strengthen and improve the barrier of the skin while simultaneously reducing inflammation.
