Infantino produces a line of carriers designed to hold a baby against the wearer's chest; this allows the wearer to keep his arms free while standing or walking. The carriers are held in place with harness straps and buckles, and are able to hold the baby in both a front-facing and rear-facing configuration. The simple construction of these devices help to ensure ease of use; however, it is important to adjust the carrier to fit the dimensions of the baby's body before the product may be used safely.

Locate the buckles at the bottom of the carrier. Push the tabs on the buckles inward until the attached straps come free.
Position the carrier in front of your body, with the rear of the device facing you. Lift the shoulder harness upwards. Insert your head through the upper harness straps.
Pull the ends of the straps down until the strap holder rests in the center of your back, just below the shoulder blades. Insert the straps fasteners into the buckles on the bottom of the carrier. Push the ends into the buckles until you feel them snap into place.
Grip the ends of the straps protruding from each fastener. Pull on the ends until the carrier is positioned snug against your chest.
Push the tabs holding the left head support fastener in place; repeat with the fastener located on the left-side panel. Pull apart the Velcro fasteners securing the side panel in place.
Hold the baby facing towards you, with your hands underneath his shoulders. Lift him upwards and hold him against your chest. Insert his legs and one of his arms through the holes in the carrier.
Use one arm to support the baby and the other to press the end of the left side panel onto the Velcro fastener. Buckle the strap located on the left side of the carrier, then pull on the excess length of strap until the baby is secure. Buckle the head support fastener back into place.
Unbuckle the left head support and side panel fasteners. Pull apart the Velcro fasteners securing the side panel in place.
Hold the baby facing away from you, with your hands underneath her shoulders. Lift her upwards and hold her against your chest. Insert her legs through the holes in the bottom of the carrier.
Determine whether the baby is large enough to rest with her arms above the head support; if not, pass one of her arms through the hole in the carrier.
Close the side panel and press the end of the panel onto the Velcro fastener. Buckle the left head support fastener; if the baby's arms are located above the head support, fold down the excess cloth.
