Putting your best face forward is easier when your forehead is hairless. While hair on the face is fully acceptable for men, most people want to pull the plug on any fuzz or stray hairs on the forehead. Some opt to have a beautician perform a procedure called threading every few weeks, while others visit a board-certified dermatologist who can remove the hair through laser treatments. However, you can remove the hair from your forehead at home by simply using wax. The result is a smooth forehead and hairline that keeps you looking well-groomed and feeling confident.

Prepare the Terrain
Place a dollop of cleanser onto your fingertips. Massage gently onto your face in small circles. Make sure to cover the area on the forehead -- right near the hairline -- that you want to wax. Rinse your face with warm water and pat dry with a soft, clean towel.
Saturate a cotton pad with toner. Swipe the pad along your entire face, paying particular attention to the upper forehead and hairline. The toner helps remove traces of cleanser and other debris the cleanser may have missed.
Turn over a bottle of baby powder into your palm. Dip your blush brush into the powder and gently dust your forehead. This helps soak up any moisture and allows the wax to adhere more efficiently to the hair.
Work the Wax
Read the directions on your wax kit. Warm the wax as specified on the package. High-temperature wax may be too hot for the forehead. Buy low-temperature or special wax for the face.
Allow the wax to cool. Test the temperature on your wrist; it should be warm, not hot.
Cut the cloth strips into 1-inch-long by 2-inch-wide pieces. This makes the strips easier to work with.
Dip the stick from the wax kit into the wax. Smooth the wax onto your forehead in a thin, 1-inch-long section. Place the cloth strip onto the wax and firmly press the cloth down, using your fingers. Smooth the strip in the direction of hair growth.
Wait 10 seconds and then hold the skin next to the cloth taut with one hand. Pull the cloth strip off swiftly with your other hand in the opposite direction of hair growth. Place the heel of your hand on the freshly waxed area and press down to help relieve any pain.
Repeat smoothing on the wax and pulling it off in 1-inch-long sections around your forehead. When finished, apply a cold compress to the area for five minutes to reduce any inflammation.
Pump a dime-sized amount of moisturizer onto your fingertips. Smooth onto your entire face. This helps calm irritated skin.
