Archery consistently ranks as one of the safest sports -- on par with bowling, ping pong and badminton -- because rather than having the objective of fast, high-impact movement, the sport instead focuses on careful aim and quiet stances. There are several archery ranges within about 35 minutes of Kansas City, Missouri, where you can practice your aim and shoot for perfection.
