What are some good running shoes that won't break the bank? Looking for something comfortable and durable for under $100 if possible.

recommendations to help prevent blisters when walking?

I am currently using Nike running shoes, I have tried tightening it, loosing them and still I get blisters. I try to exercise about an hour a day/3 miles. Could it be my socks?
