Vegetarian Training
So despite many google searches I've become overwhelmed by over information.
What are the three top protein substitutes that are not high in carbs, or soy?
I've also began cutting out all dairy because it is very inflammatory.
Lifting 4 days a week with 3 days cardio; plus I teach yoga when I'm not at my desk job.
Thanks for the advice!

I'm not a vegetarian but Id say beans , nuts, tofu but that has soy I think. Oh also avocado I believe. Since you do yoga do you know any good yoga for boxers? They say a lot of great fighters do yoga to get flexible and gain balance

My husband used to box and does yoga, and it does help with flexibility, as well as mental focus during a fight. I did martial arts for 10 years before yoga, and can see how it would help. Forward folds, back bends, chest openers, and hip openers would be great to do, as well as arm balances. Vinyasa just to move with the breath in between postures (forward fold, plank, down dog, up dog, down dog, forward fold). Hope that helps!

Go to the Vegetarian Resource Group (VRG.org) and/or ChooseMyPlate.gov
These sites are helpful and have tons of info on plant based sources for protein and many more nutrients that vegetarians may be lacking, you'd be surprised at how many items are actually packed with protein that you wouldn't expect.
I try to avoid processed soy products anyway but it can be hard when you're veg but lentils beans and legumes with rice are always a staple in my kitchen plus Chia seeds and Quinoa are great to have as they are full of protein and fiber also. -
