question about double counting activity


I have a question about double counting activity / calories burned.


I am using multiple sources to track activity: watch to track general activity and passive calories burn using apple health and activity app,
2. Endomondo with wahoo heart rate monitor to track exercise activity. Apple watch is on my hand and phone is the pocket while I am exercising.

So, when i have activity sync feature turned on in the app, is it smart enough to determine that i have watch , phone and heart rate monitor logging activity at the same time? Or I have to turn off the sync feature and handle it manually?

In my opinion this is a very important to keep this accurate, otherwise it really have little sense to use the app.
