Calorie Count

It's my first day on this app and I haven't counted calories in a couple years. I logged in my food and I've apparently eaten a total of 700 calories today. Keeping in mind that this was a lazy Saturday and I slept in until noon, this is still way too little to eat in a day especially for someone who is hoping to gain some butt/thigh. I think my solution is pretty straight forward but does anyone have any advice?

      Welcome!

The key to gaining weight is to maintain a calorie surplus consistently over time. Many who struggle to gain weight over estimate how much they eat and do not maintain a calorie surplus consistently. You will find calorie dense foods helpful to help increase calorie intake. Some items you should incorporate areā€¦.

      red meat
      salmon
      dairy
      beans
      pasta
      oatmeal
      rice
      Potatoes
      nut butters
      nuts
      Seeds
      avocado
      olive oil

This also seems to be my biggest issue, not consuming enough calories for the fitness goals I would really like to accomplish.
