How to motivate yourself to go back to the gym

I used to go to the gym 3 times a week for about an hour each time however I stopped this a few weeks ago because I was worried about injuring myself before my dance competitions. However now they're all over I have no motivation to go back. I have never enjoyed going to the gym, i find it borning and am often unmotivated to push myself. How do I motivate myself to go back?
