Upper Body Strength

Hey all! I'm a 17 year old female, and I'm trying to build upper body strength. I start a nursing program in the fall and clinical requires you to be able to lift patients! I have generally low muscle tone, as well as a connective tissue disorder, so my upper body strength is lacking. I know my limits and know I am capable of working on my upper body strength, however I don't know where to start! I'd appreciate any advice smile
