I was looking through 'Run to Lose' and I've been planning out snacks: pre-run, post run…
I like the portability of the baby food in a resealable pouch. This way, I know I can fuel before, during-
My favorite post long run snack is turkey sandwich with salad and sprouts or avocado shmear, and Sam adams lager. Now I'm loving the organic ultra gold. -

I always try to look at maps and walk routes first so I know locations of public restrooms.
I've made the mistake of eating too much oatmeal and raisin for breakfast then went out for a run too soon.
It was like combining speed running and anxiety adrenaline rush! -

As I start to walk over 6 miles, yeah, I plan with an eye to where I can have a break!!!
I think about 100 years ago, wistful for a place for my bathroom break!
I don't remember this was a problem in my late teens training for a marathon…
