I really like the Zesty Italian vinaigrette made by Kraft (it's 25 calories per tablespoon) and then I add freshly squeezed lemon juice. Hummus Salad Dressing Is also really good and super easy to make.

Hi ecm! If you make your own dressing, you can control the amount of sugar and/or oil in them vs. using store bought. I always make my own dressing and I have a salad every single day as part of my dinner - so I'm with you, I love salads, too.
You can also use a good quality balsamic vinegar which is going to be quite sweet and just a bit of good quality EVOO (Extra virgin olive oil) or Avocado oil. The oils may be higher in calories, but they are HEALTHY oils andi additionally, fat doesn't make you fat.
If you stick to a tablespoon or two of dressing, the caloric content isn't horrible. Also, you want to stick to a veggie salad, vs loading a salad with croutons, cheese, etc. It's those extras that really bump up the numbers.

I like to make my own dressing, usually I do a little olive oil, and then some lemon juice and I season it with Chile Lime seasoning from Trader Joe's, and then some adobo seasoning and it's by far my favorite dressing

My current favorite dressing:
1 tablespoon olive based Mayo
1 tablespoon non fat yogurt
1 tablespoon bragg's apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon sugar
Pepper
Salt
Cumin

Rice vinegar is awesome! I have a basil and oregano flavored one that I splash on along with a little olive oil and salt -the rice vinegar is a little sweet so it works well-. Just use your measuring spoons!

Skinny girl makes a great poppyseed dressing that is only 10 calories per 2 tablespoons!!! Highly recommend!

Bolthouse Farms is made with yogurt so it's lower calorie.
