Good morning and Happy 4th!.

Hi nice to meet everyone! . I'm 64 pretty healthy, active but lately gaining weight in mid section. I could always keep my weight down but now I'm having a hard time as I get older. Plus semi- retired now too. I've been using this app for awhile now. I yo yo with my eating habits. I just joined Gold so hoping I will be more consistent. I learned a lot about healthy foods and what's good for you ( no processed foods, right oils & limit sugary foods) but go off the deep end too quickly is why I don't stay consistent with the right eating habits and end up eating everything and too much! Lol. I looked at some of the meals and it gives me ideas. I also don't buy all the ingredients because I eat more on the bland side because it saves me money. I can use all the help I can get if willing to reach out.

I was looking at the micronutrients and I'm missing B9 it won't change when I eat Folate foods. Could you please check that for me. Thanks!

      Thank you fixing app. I am really enjoying this app and recipes. So, to follow the recipes and to have the right food on hand, for current day, especially so food is fresh and doesn't spoil, Do you look at food menu for current day and buy ingredients and have on day-2? Or do you buy the ingredients on week 1 and prepare food for week 2? I'm having trouble understanding organizing preparing the menu for current day and having ingredients, since we get our menu meals the same day. Please advise. Thank you!

      We are glad to hear you are enjoying the foods. I shop for at least a few days at a time unless it contains fresh seafood. In that case, I'll buy the day I plan to eat.

      Okay. Thank you. I guess that's what I have been doing but sometimes get busy and don't have time but I'll get used of it once I get rolling. I love this though I could spend my entire time reading on food and health which I have been doing lately. I have never taken a healthy approach to eating even with this app. I actually started this in 2017 but didn't join Gold until recently it helps so much more to stay grounded. I never knew you could eat so much food and still lose weight. I would always avoid fat and it's so important. It's all in the knowing the breakdown and calories so your body stays healthy while losing. This is much healthier than any other way of eating. I will definitely use this app as a guide for my eating habit life style change. Thank you so much! Happy 4th.

      Unfortunately the third-party database used by MyPlate, Nutritionix, does not have a value listed for B9. It appears what is happening is, when there is no value available, MyPlate is putting 0. I see why this is misleading and will pass this feedback to our product team.
