I want to clarify, this is a fix for the specific crash issue that was affecting the iOS app.

This does not fix the issue some users have reported with the Android app. The sporadic issue some users have experienced with the Android app is different. Unfortunately our team has been unable to reproduce that issue. If any of you have steps to reproduce it please let us know. That is, specific step by step instructions that when followed cause the crash every time.

The fix passed QA this morning and will be included in version 5.43.

When will 5.43 be released?

Version 5.43 will be rolled out next week. Roll out is expected to be completed Friday, December 9.

This version will also include a character counter for posts. If a post/comment is longer than the character limit it will fail to post. Currently the interface does not show the user how many characters they have remaining.
