Bake a batch of homemade cookies — no butter, flour, or sugar required. These treats contain three ingredients you may already have in your kitchen: banana, almond butter and oats. (Photo: Jackie Newgent)

INGREDIENTS

SERVES 4

  • 118 g Banana, Medium
  • 2 tbsp almond butter (with salt)
  • 1/2 cup Old Fashioned Rolled Oats

DIRECTIONS

1 Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a large baking sheet with unbleached parchment paper.
2 In a medium mixing bowl, mash the banana.
3 Stir in the almond butter until evenly combined. Stir in the oats until evenly combined.
4 Drop mixture by rounded tablespoon onto the prepared baking sheet to make 8 cookies. Bake until lightly browned and just firm to the touch, about 10 to 12 minutes.
5 Let cookies fully cool on the sheet pan on a rack, and serve.
